Hoth Comes to Lake Michigan

This is hardly the first time I’ve seen Star Wars themed wedding photos. It’s probably not even the 52nd time. But this is one of the coolest shots I’ve seen, as the photographer (Steven Kowalski) and his good friend photoshop decided to bring the battle of Hoth to Lake Michigan.

I’m not sure if standing out in the open is the best plan to take on a fleet of AT-ATs, but I guess at any moment the Death Star could fire and vaporize the entire planet. And it’s one hell of a last stand. Alright, I’m getting a bit lost in the mythology here and forgetting this is a bunch of people just staring at a lake. Very cool though.
