Alright, Alright, Alright
Last night, you could watch Matthew McConaughey act in one of the best shows on TV, and then an hour later, watch him win an Oscar for acting in one of the best movies of 2013.
It’s been a hell of a year for a man who used to practically be a running joke in the industry. It’s hard to think of another actor who has had this kind of career spike after being typecast for so, so long.
If you think it’s all downhill from here, we get to see McConaughey star in Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, and the man is going to be thrown amazing roles left and right now. This year of McConaughey may just turn into the decade of McConaughey. And I’m alright, alright, alright with that.
Watch his Oscar acceptance speech below:
I thought that acceptance speech was a little irksome…
I did not watch the acceptance speech, but I can say this: my opinion of McConaughey changed (much for the better) after seeing him in Bernie. Perhaps he is not just a rom-com sucker!

Are you serious? UGH.
This is ridiculous.
