7 Non-Vampire Human Eating Predators in Movies

In today’s entertainment world that is completely run by vampires, werewolves, and zombies, I kind of miss the good ‘ol days of complete and utter psychos.  I mean when was the last time we took a look at plain old human beings were are simply too messed up to be in society?

When’s the last time we were around characters that enjoyed human flesh just for kicks?  Eh, I feel like it’s been a while.

Which is why I decided to make a list of seven non-vampire human eating predators in movies….

Thanks to Listal who had a great list including vampires, wolves, and zombies.

Dr. Hannibal Lecter – Silence of the Lambs

Clearly he’s probably the most classic of all flesh eating characters in movies.  Dr. Lecter did it with a certain degree of pinache and style don’t you think?  Sure he was a psycho but in a calm way.

Kevin – Sin City

At first you think he’s just this badass fighter type guy but then you learn we was raised by some disgusting priest and he developed a penchant for eating humans after killing them.   A little freaky if you ask me.  Oh and putting their heads up on walls like deer is kind of gross.

Leatherface  – Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Why this looks like a perfectly sensible meal wouldn’t you say?  I’d say that anyone who makes masks out of human flesh certainly deserves to be on this list.

Disfigured Hillbillies – The Hills Have Eyes

Have any of you ever seen this movie?  Good God it’s freaky.  It’s almost like Deliverance on steroids.   I feel like some director decided “let’s just make a film that’s as messed up and gross as possible and see what we come up with.”

Apocalyptic People – The Road

While I wasn’t a huge fan of this movie, one thing I liked is that there was a small sense of reality here.  I mean think about it.  If the world were to end and there weren’t too many things to eat around, what would you do?

Infected Humans – Resident Evil

Frankly I just enjoy this picture of Michelle Rodriguez.  There are plenty of “Zombie” movies out there and I kind of wanted to stay away from that genre.

Disfigured Freaks – Wrong Turn

It’s not quite The Hills have Eyes but it certainly has teeth.

  1. I agree with trashcanman, you can’t include Resident Evil in a list where vampires and zombies aren’t allowed.

Also, the caption underneath is hilarious because you explicitly state “There are plenty of “Zombie” movies out there and I kind of wanted to stay away from that genre.” by inlcuding one of the most well-known reboots of the zombie genre ever? hahaha oh Nattyb….

  2. Dinosaurs in Jurassic Park.
Lions in The Ghost and the Darkness.
    Sharks in the Jaws movies.
    Bugs in Mimic.
    Aliens in Pitch Black.
What about the cave creatures in The Descent?

  3. It’s weird that you say you don’t like “The Road” while Paul, meanwhile, is recommending it a few posts up. Whatever happened to blog solidarity? Isn’t that a thing?
