Some Excellent Pop Culture Typography Art

UK Etsy retailer 17th and Oak has designed a huge collection of typography images drawing on iconic characters and phrases from Star Wars to superheroes to ’80s movies. In them, the body of the character is made up entirely of one of their most famous quotes, which has produced quite a cool series indeed.

The more you talk, the more filled in your portrait is likely to be. Which is why Yoda is more or less just a few blobs of “There is No Try.” The award for least amount of words probably goes to Heisenberg though, for “Say My Name.”

Heh, I made posters like this about a year ago. Not as good, but similar concept (Superman made using that quote, Capt. America using the good man quote).

Optimus Prime REALLY should have used the “Freedom is the right of all sentient beings” quote.
