Welcome to this Week in Movie Trailers!
So how about all of that stuff that happened this week? Yeah, I know, time for a relaxing break from reality. As luck would have it, that is what I am here for in the form of movie previews! This week, we have an interesting bunch, that’s for sure, sooooo…
Transformers: Age of Extinction
For those of you who are excited to see Optimus Prime riding a giant, metal dinosaur, this is for you. Personally, I’m not excited for this film, but I will likely see it in theatres because I have a cousin that is a few years younger than me that loves these things and I don’t have the heart to say no. I’ll likely enjoy it though.
Well, it’s not like we haven’t been seeing much live action remakes of Disney classics in the past few years. I’m lying? OK yeah, I am.
Monsters: Dark Continent
The first film (simply called Monsters) was alright, I suppose! Not sure what’s up with the sequel based on this first teaser trailer though, as it doesn’t really look anything like the first one. Or maybe it does; it has been awhile!
So, a lot of people hate these found footage movies, but I don’t. I love them and I will see this.
The Hundred-Foot Journey
This looks like a nice, feel-good movie.
Did I feature an older trailer for this film in a prior column? I forget! Anyway, I love Nick Cage for a lot of reasons and Danny Glover can barely talk now! Those are my two observations for this trailer.
