I’d say roughly 98% of the time, “gender bent” cosplay is male characters being cosplayed by females. The other two percent? Well, you have entries like Dr. Teng‘s Larry Croft.
In an effort to stay as faithful to the original costume as possible, Teng made sure as much skin was on display as Croft typically reveals. It’s a little hard to tell in the picture above (taken by Anna Fischer), but once you zoom out for the shots below you’ll see what I mean.
Clearly, the clothes allow for greater flexibility and breathability in hot jungle climates, and all adventuring men should wear similar outfits.
