The Triplets of Belleville’s Sylvain Chomet Does a Simpsons Couch Gag

Published by at 2:00 pm under Television,Videos

Sylvain Chomet is one of the oddest animators in the business, which you would know if you’ve seen any of his work like The Triplets of Belleville or The Illusionist.

Naturally, The Simpsons loves collaborating with talented artists in their field, so they brought Chomet in to do a couch gag. The result is….a bit disturbing as Maggie goes missing and Bart apparently murders a goose by force feeding it corn. I’m not sure what that’s in reference to.

Anyway, it’s pretty fantastic, and it’s not just a cool person directing a gag, he actually animated it as well, which doesn’t happen often.
