Classical Paintings of Pop Culture Characters
Everyone needs a hobby, and though there’s not really a call for paintings of stuff looking figures anymore, there is for pop culture icons. Artist White Rabbit combines the two pursuits for this gallery which features classical paintings of characters we all know in love.
The effect is bizarre, cool and certainly as unreal as you can get. R2-D2 might be my favorite, but there are also ones for Optimus Prime, Kermit the Frog, Boba Fett and many more. Check out the full gallery below to see them all.

Do you have an original link for these? I am not clicking through the cumbersome gallery, but I think they’re very interesting. Kudos to someone actually using traditional painting skills (as far as I can tell) and not the oh-so-easy digital methods.
