The Best Movies of 2012, Illustrated

As part of a promotion for the British Academy film awards, artist Jonathan Burton has drawn this series of promotional prints spotlighting some of the best movies of the year.

There are three based out of events in American history, Zero Dark Thirty, Lincoln and Argo, one from France, Les Miserables, and one from India, Life of Pi. No Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy this year to represent the Brits themselves it seems.

In any case, these prints are simply fantastic, and the BAFTAs have never seen better promotion if you ask me. Check out the rest below:

    Adverts within pictures are really annoying.

    “No Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy this year”

    Well of course not. That was released last year. The British film in this lot is clearly “Les Miserables” instead, what with that actually having come out THIS year.
