I don’t have to play a game right after it’s release to be a big fan of it. Perhaps, I had to deal with stuff in real life? My world doesn’t revolve solely on video games. I also said second quarter of 2013 which is still around spring time, not at the end of the year.

Also, not all fans of video games prefer to know every detail of a game prior to its release. Some like to be surprised. Besides, this is a piece focused on what I wanted to see in V regardless if they used it or not.

Anyway, I appreciate that you read this article.

For a “big fan” of Gta, why have you only just now finished GtA IV,…also, GTA V is out in spring of this year,..not the end, and if you actually were keeping up to date on GTA V you would have known about all the news concerning transport, the fact there will be No buying real estate, no customising bodies,. Why write a big long article about a game you don’t even read the news about, if you were as much of a fan or excited as the rest of us, you would be sucking up every morsel of information you can find, a little reading goes a long way, and would have answered a lot of these questions, sorry if I come off sounding a little rude, but this is the kind of article I’d expect to see this time last year, not now, when there’s been tons of game information released which answers every question you had.

A female protagonist? Hmm… that would be interesting. I’m not sure how most of GTA’s fans would react to that though.

Thanks for the info! It’s sad to hear that V occurs in a different universe. However, like you said, I’m still optimistic that I’ll enjoy the game. I’ll go and celebrate now that I know that planes and bikes are back! hahaha.

I can tell you now some of your hopes have been answered.
1. Transport: Planes are back and the map is suppossed to be the biggest Rockstar have created so expect plenty of room to use them, however, I read that only one of the 3 protagonists can fly them. Boats are back too, jetskis will also make an appearance. Bikes are back too.
2. Cameos: One of the Houser brothers (i think thats who it was) said that GTA V exists in a different universe to the GTA III era games. The characters from those games will not be appearing in GTA V or any future games. However, he didn’t rule out cameos from GTA IV, which would be nice.
3. Property/garage: I think I read an interview with the devs or something where they said property will not be purchasable. I hope thats not true and I can’t remember exactly what they said.
4. Customisation: one of the devs said that you won’t be able to give your characters haircuts or tattoos but you will be able to customise their clothing. Don’t think they said anything about eating or weight gain/loss.

While some of these sound like mis-steps, I have upmost faith in Rockstar to create one of the best games of the year, if not all time.

I would like to see a playable female character for once that’s NOT only in Multiplayer.
