    With regards to the McDonald’s article:

    It’s got nothing to do with the ingredients, this is just bad science. You could do the exact same experiment with ingredients from your kitchen and as long as you made it the same size, it would also do the same. The burger is so small that the moisture evaporates before mould can set in, therefore making the whole thing go stale which is how it will stay. The same goes for the roll and fries. If you try it with a larger McDonald’s burger made with the exact same ingredients then it does go all mouldy and nasty.
