Michael, you obviously know nothing of the Civil War era or of Lincoln himself as this movie is no where near historically accurate. Pick up a real history book and educate yourself.

Forget about Spielberg, if you are a fan of Daniel Day Lewis, go see it. Historically it’s very accurate, it’s a movie based on Doris Kearns Goodwin. I doubt she’d let anyone touch her works and take liberties in the screen writing process.

I just can’t bring myself to see this one yet, though I may. I love the subject of Lincoln, but Spielberg hung up his real talent years ago in favor of historical revisionism, and I haven’t forgiven him yet.
