8 TV Actors Who Are Ready For The Big Screen
For TV actors, movies seem like the viable next step in their career. But not everyone makes it. Actually most of these actors will probably appear in one of those TMZ ‘Memba Them?!’ posts years from now. Still, there’s no need to be so pessimistic because right now we have a number of talented actors working in television.
I’ve put together a list of 8 TV actors who are ready for the big screen. Have in mind that Jon Hamm, Peter Dinklage and Michael C. Hall are not on this list. They are obviously amazing at what they do, and I don’t need to remind you.
Aaron Paul
Appeared In These TV Shows: Big Love, Breaking Bad
Aaron Paul is the other actor on AMC’s Breaking Bad who deserves a movie career. The show is basically done (one-half of a season to go), and unlike his co-star Bryan Cranston, Paul hasn’t booked that many film gigs. He recently got the lead role in the action film Need for Speed, an adaptation of the Electronic Arts video game. And while the film will most likely give him a nice paycheck, he should be signing up for more character-driven projects. He’s definitely got the talent for a drama.

Yes on Alison Brie and Aaron Paul. The rest I’m not as familiar with as others. Nice article!
matt bromer’s been on the big screen. not major roles.
magic mike oh yeah.
I think Matt Bomer would be great as Nathan Drake in the “Uncharted” adaptation and that could launch him into massive stardom if the movie has the right people behind the camera.
worth noting that Aaron Paul has been in a drama movie called Smashed, a movie on alcoholism
Agreed on Ed Westwick! GG is such a waste of the talent he’s got. Hopefully, he’s lucky to land a role in a serious movie. He absolutely deserves it.
Did this article really need to have 8 pages? It seems you could’ve had more examples per page since there wasn’t that much writing in each of them. Rant over.
You pretty much just list 8 of my favourite people in television and I agree they are all talented and deserve movies!
Matt boomer should be the batman for the Justice League Movie.. someday.
I agree with that list. I have to say I particularly want Ed Westwick to hit the big screen soon, I’m tired of suffering through GG just to see him and his talent.
Check out Aubrey Plaza in Safety Not Guaranteed. Excellent!
Matt Bomer is my favorite part of In Time (2011). He really nailed the part and I wish I could explain more as for why but what would spoil the movie so I’ll just leave with this: I freaking loved him in In Time
Alison Brie did a great job in Save the Date and Aaron Paul did his thing also in Smashed
