I really kinda do look like Spike. Shockingly so, actually. And I feel like these pieces will find their legs over time. For now, we are but hatchlings, suckling from the same creative teet.
And I may have to agree with Jackie about Repo Man. That movie is pure magic, and would LOVE to know what my BFF thinks about it.

I LOVE this film. To me, it just proves the intensity of one Mr. Bill Murray, even back in the day! See, I saw this coming when the movie came out, that he was more than just a funny guy & a pretty face…( LOL ) anyway, I do agree that the casting was a bit off. Maybe they were the best he could get at the time. If it were to be remade, I’m sure Bill would have actors lining the streets to play even a bit part.
So, onward & upward…..I would like to suggest that the next film you review be…………….”Eating Raoul” ( or any of David Lynch’s films) maybe even “Repo Man” starring Emilio Estevez. just a suggestion here, but you asked.

Just so you know, I’m now picturing Clemens as Fluttershy and Carreiro as Rainbow Dash from this day forward. And no, you can’t both claim Twilight Sparkle (soooo predictable). Not a huge fan of the tandem review format unless the writers have a blood feud going to keep things interesting. Then again, the film in this case seems to have gotten a dual “meh” from you guys so it’s possible that an uninteresting topic of discussion is to blame. My recommendation would be to take a better known film for reader investment purposes -preferably something divisive- and go from there. Maybe something you are both familiar with and have conflicting opinions on to get some real discussion going instead of trying to facilitate conversation about a movie neither of you really cared much about. Don’t ever ask me for a specific rec because I’m just going to say something like Cannibal Holocaust. I can’t help myself.

For earlier, not-straight-comedic Bill Murray roles, you should do “Where the Buffalo Roam”. Murray as Hunter S. Thompson and the great Peter Boyle as Dr. Gonzo? What’s not to love, right?

For some reason, everyone I hang out with loves that movie, and I just do NOT get it. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts.

Yay! You did The Razor’s Edge. Now I know I put this suggestion in the comments for Bleakest movies list and while it is only kind of depressing, but I will be perfectly honest I did have some ulterior motives. I mainly just want people to be aware of the movie. As you said earlier, Bill Murray didn’t have the dramatic acting chops back then to hold the role but does now. I agree with this but I don’t think people should just assume that a great comedic actor can all of a sudden do drama amazingly. This was his stepping stone and for how much I love Bill Murray I think that more people should be aware of that step he took.

On another note, I love this type of new collaboration. And I recommend Time Crimes for your next one. A french time travel thriller. Sounds lame but was really damn good. Good work!
