Two hours of two robots saying Walle and Evie to each other. I thought Finding Nemo was excellent.

It being the best selling DVD of all time doesn’t prove anything about consumers. It’s subjective. It does prove you’re somewhat elitist though.

The story is unoriginal and horribly predictable, not to mention sappy and excessivly “for children”. There’s little or nothing to keep anyone over the age of 7 interested past the first 5 minutes. The CG work isn’t even Pixar’s best by any means. (Wall-E is #1 in my book.)

The saddening fact that this is the best selling DVD of all time only serves as proof positive that most consumers have poor taste and absurdly low standards.
