For as geeky as this site is, we don’t often feature LOTR stuff that much. Sure, we’ve got Star Wars galore, but that other trilogy doesn’t get enough love from us as it should.

I aim to change that today by featuring the fantastic art of Jian Guo. He has a unique style of “stained glass art” which is exactly what it sounds like. Art drawn like a church window, but with no actual glass used. I think that would be a touch more of an involved process.

He’s got a bunch of scenes from the books laid out here, and I’m sure fans will recognize most of the settings and locales. Check out the rest below:
