Photo of the Week: A Mario World We Don’t Dare See
When we were kids and we were playing Super Mario Brothers on the NES we never really analyzed the game much further than wanting to win it, finding shortcuts, and being amazed at all the levels, etc etc. Little did we think of things like “human sized man eating plants” or “magic mushrooms that make you bigger (hint:drugs).”
But those adults in the gaming world do think about these things. And those thoughts are no better described than in this amazing picture of what the sordid underground of what an actual castle or underworld life might look like in Super Mario Brothers.
The detail is great and man do I wish this level existed!
