That Cracked article is awful. It’s all half truths and things taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I’m a big fan of Cracked in general so I gotta say I’m a bit perplexed this even got published.
I thought it was pretty good, and I don’t really see any half truths in there. It’s not perfect, some of the examples may suck but generally speaking all of it’s main points are true.
Not saying racism, sexism, etc doesn’t exist in videogames, but the article is seriously about 90% bullshit. If they wanted to have an article about this they should have at least used a writer who actually knew what he was talking about. As it is it really seems like a Fox News piece.
It was a pretty bad article.
