Go here to see four of television’s hidden gems.

“Every now and then friends or random Twitterers, aware of my affinity for television, will ask me to suggest a great series they’ve never seen. What used to be a rather simple request has morphed into a fully loaded question with a difficulty level equivalent to solving a quadratic equation while chugging Goose through a garden hose. ”

Comments on Diablo 3 endgame and other comments treating it like an MMO. While simultaneously speak volumes about what the game is really about. (making Blizzard money)

The only reason they are concerned with player retention is so their cash cow can stay alive, it has nothing to do with making a good game, just as it didn’t have anything to do with that when it was being worked on in the first place.

Of course, lots of people brought up these issues and we were shouted down, because the only explanation HAD to be we all wanted to live in the past, not the same conclusion blizzard themselves came to (but weren’t willing to voice at the beginning at risk of losing sales…)

Blizzard knew they were releasing a trainwreck, any game that has such a gameplay overhaul so late in beta was destined for more problems, but they knew that going in, they figured they’d just patch it up…and here we are, they are still ‘fixing’ the game.

GOOD THING DIABLO 3 PROVIDED US WITH LOADS OF VARIATION there was a screeenshot with it and everything…/eyeroll
