The Last Airbender’s Korra vs. Tahno in Real Life

With every show ever on hiatus right now, there’s only one thing I’m currently looking forward to each and every week: The Legend of Korra. The Last Airbender sequel series is wrapping up soon (I believe), but before then, here’s a great bit of cosplay inspired by the show.
It’s Korra herself locked in combat with rival bender Tahno. Yes, that is a guy. He just loves his hair. And eyeliner. And the ladies. I promise.
Anyway, the costumes and photos are from Aicosu and Rin respectively, and you should pay them a visit to see more cool stuff. And watch The Last Airbender. All of it. You won’t regret it.

The Legend of Korra is a great show that is respectively aimed at an older audience than The last airbender yet the younger crowed is still able to gain interest into the new series as well. Hopefully this means it will gain more fans and bring on LONGER seasons. There was talk about this new series being a “mini-series”. I don’t think this to be true as a mini series would clearly state it’s intentions. The Legend of Korra dosen’t really seem to know where it wants to go. I think they are just testing the waters, as they don’t want to screw up what they already had with the first series. When you start Loseing previous fans, thats when the show changes.
It’s already been stated multiple times that the show will be 2 seasons, a 12 episode first season, and a 14 episode second season. It was originally going to be a single season mini series but then got expanded midway through production. It has not yet been announced when season 2 will air.
