The Friends Airport Security Scene That Was Cut Because of 9/11

Published by at 2:00 pm under Television,Videos

Think you’ve seen every possible minute of Friends over the years? Well, you’re wrong. This is a four minute segment that was cut from the Bing honeymoon episode that featured some jokes regarding airport security. Not the best timing in the wake of 9/11.

You may think it was an overreaction and the TSA is hilarious, but watch the clip. You really can’t have Chandler Bing joking about bombs and hijacking that close to 9/11. It was definitely the right call to pull it. Still, cool to see new footage from such an old show. I really do miss it. Happy Endings is becoming an almost equal replacement though.

oh yes, US airport security… never met a bigger bunch of dickholes in my life. I hope they do get bombed for their bullshit procedures.

Hey, it’s only season two. There are certain similarities.

So … they never had those first class seats because of 9/11.
