Of all the funny internet “things” and fads that have captured us over the years,  I think none has been more popular than the meme.    However, things like infographs, charts, and other types of factual information have also been on the rise.   What this all comes down to is simplicity.

People love taking entire concepts and dumbing them down to a sentence or two.   I mean why do you think Twitter is so big?  Fast info can be extremely entertaining and if it’s actually useful?  Then you get a double whammy of greatness.   Another internet fad that I don’t think will go away anytime soon are pie charts that describe various subjects.
