The idea of humans trying to make themselves immortal through the use of technology is interesting. But I must say that Jesus gave us a glimps of the kind of body we will be given at the resurrection of the dead ( see 1Cor 15:42-50) We are going to have immortal bodies like His. When He appeared to his disciples in the upper room, they were frightened thinking that they had seen a ghost. He joined them even though they didn’t unlock the door and let him in. He had flesh and bones but was able to walk through the door. His disciples touched him and He ate food. So my thought is , even though as mortal humans here on earth we’re making great strides in science and tech., it’s nothing to the amazing wonders we will see through eternity. Jesus wants us to experience all that with him. He has saved us through his grace. We just need to have faith and trust in him. Life here on earth, even if you live to be 200 is a brief moment in time compared to eternity. I’m going to live forever and I’ll have more than a bionic body ( :
