It’s been a while since I’ve featured a trailer that wasn’t somehow superhero or space related, but hey, it’s Tarantino, he’s the exception to every rule.
Like the rule, for example, that a movie made by a white guy about a slave killing plantation owners might be a bit…troublesome to some. But it’s Tarantino! Who the hell cares? The man can do what he wants, and generally what he wants is to make one badass movie. The man rewrote the entire end of World War II for crying out loud.
I wasn’t sure about Jamie Foxx in this role over Will Smith, but it looks like he’s doing a fine job, and it will likely end up being the greatest part of his career. DiCaprio is rarely a bad guy, so I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do under the direction of Tarantino. The man had now officially been directed by practically every fantastic director alive today, from Scorsese to Cameron to Nolan to now Tarantino. Quite the achievement.
