Adam Jensen’s Chaos Dunk

Published by at 2:00 pm under Video Games,Videos

I know it’s a bit late to be posting Deus Ex clips, but I couldn’t resist this one. It was my game of the year in 2011, and that was without even knowing this was possible in the game.

Adam Jensen channels Jordan for a brief moment, and executes a dunk so amazing, everyone around him’s lives are altered permanently. Just watch, it’s 41 seconds long. You have 41 seconds don’t you? Of course you do, you’ve already spent about twenty reading this post.

Also: I want to go watch Space Jam now.

Yeah, BABE-EEEE!! That was the shit. I actually just finished Deus Ex the other day and I bought it largely based on your praises. Good game, but I am definitely missing the GOTY quality. Arkham City was miles ahead of this one even with no Skyrim on the picture. I mean the story was great if pretty standard conceptual sci-fi, but not on par with GITS and the like and gameplaywise I felt like I’ve been playing the same shooter since Goldeneye on the N64. The non-lethal and stealth options were all right, but the only thing I felt really made Deus Ex Unique was the debate system. I actually really loved that, but I felt that it could have been expanded to include much more and much better character interaction than what we got. Good game, but I just don’t see the GOTY claim.
