Fifteen of the Most Baffling Movie Titles

Published by at 8:01 am under Images,Movies

One of our favorite movie sites out there is Listal.   And just the other day I saw this funny piece they did on over 50 movies that had the weirdest titles. I figured that it was my duty to make sure some of these were seen by you guys.

But what’s almost equally as funny are some of the movie posters to go along with them.   So we decided to round up 15 of the best titles of this larger list of 50.

We hope you enjoy these as much as we did….

great list. had a few of these in mind when i read the subject. another one that recently premiered at the Berlin Film Festival is called “The Woman Who Brushed Off Her Tears.” It’s international release title is “Man on Asphalt,” which is only a slight improvement

Cat Dancing was the name of the woman that Burt Reynolds loved.

Don’t Be A Menace should be taken off just based on how awesome it was. The title doesn’t mean anything with that movie to back it up.

“Don’t be a Menace…” is absurd on purpose since it’s a satire of several urban movies.

Nobody is saying “Don’t be a Menace” is a bad movie. Neither is The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill, or RRRrrrr. All 3 are entertaining in different ways. They just have stupid titles. Some of the movies were are and always will be stupid no matter what title they were given.

“A Complete History of My Sexual Failures” is exactly what it means…the funniest/saddest part about it is that it’s a documentary..

check it out, it’s really good, funny and at times sweet..

I have seen the Hugh Grant one and the sexual failures one. I now want to see the rest (except, of course, for the “Sisterhood of the Pants” or whatever).

My favourite has still got to be “Night of the Day of the Dawn of the Son of the Bride of the Return of the Revenge of the Terror of the Attack of the Evil, Mutant, Alien, Flesh Eating, Hellbound, Zombified Living Dead Part 2: In Shocking 2-D”.

You sometimes have to wonder what on earth they were thinking with some of these names… XD
