Robocop’s Fried Chicken Commercial

No, you did not read that wrong. Yes, it is Japanese. What the hell else would it be?
Japan has been the master of WTF commercials for decades, but Robocop selling friend chicken is even a bit of a stretch for them. Even though that is the official Robocop suit, I can’t tell if this was purposeful cross promotion, or they just blatantly stole the character for their chicken pitch.
The ’80s were a strange time.

It’s Korean. Even says so in the youtube description. You can also tell by the Korean language and the Korean characters used in the commercial. Oh, Paul…hahah
Although before watching it, just based on the thumbnail and video concept I assumed it was my people, too. lol
