The Office’s Kevin Malone in Real Life
The Office is a fantastic show in part because nearly all of these characters feel authentic. The actors embody their respective characters each and every week with such believability we’ve grown to know and love all of them over the years.
Kevin Malone might be the most lovable one of the bunch, and I’ll never forget the episode where Holly was convinced he was “special.” He’s slow in speech and in action, but as it turns out, actor Brian Baumgartner is the furthest thing from either of those, and he’s playing a character to a greater degree than definitely anyone else on the show. At the minute mark of the video above, you’ll be shocked to hear him speak in his actual voice.

I saw a video where they asked the cast members of the Office, alone and in turn, which cast members most resembled and most differed from their parts on the show. The unanimous choice for most disimilar was Brian as Kevin. I enjoyed seeing it illustrated in this video as I never had before. The choice for most alike their character? Kelly.
