Through the magic of expert video editing, we get to see what life might be like if our own pets followed the rules of Pokemon.
Of course, when ours come out to battle, that is going to just mean sitting there idly (cats) or wagging their tails incessantly (dogs). Only if you start keeping bears and bees inside Pokeballs is anyone ever actually going to be attacked. And it’s probably going to be you.

I like the idea, but the person woh made this gif needed to spend a little more time making sure things lined up correctly. I mean, how hard was it to not move the pokeball when he went to grab his cat? Also, it’s clearly different time of day when the cat shows up. The floor reflects a different color.
Sorry to nitpick, but those are the kinds of things I go out of my way to fix when I do animation projects like that.
