The Muppets Invade Movies: A Gallery
To be perfectly honest I wasn’t surprised to see that the latest Muppet movie was a success but I have to admit that I was relieved. There was a part of me that thought this new age, iPhone, texting, Facebook, application type of a generation might not enjoy these simple, lovable creatures that warmed our hearts for so many years.
Granted the Muppets won’t be this amazing phenomenon anymore, but I’m glad there’s at least a market out there. Speaking of which, now that the Muppets are somewhat back I’m glad the folks at Something Awful pulled out another photoshop contest.
This one was taking Muppets and putting them into other mainstream movies. I chose 15 that I thought kicked ass….

I would pay the astronomical movie ticket prices to see them do a muppets LotR
I think putting one of Frank Oz’s Muppet characters as Yoda’s head intead of Kermit would have been a good meta-joke.
