Photo of the Week: Now That’s a Door Lock…..Fail

Published by at 9:00 am under Images

There’s only one issue here.   Um, isn’t that from the inside?  So basically the owner of said lock is the one who has to figure out this annoying maze every single time?   I’ll give this lock some points for creativity and design but this easily has to be the most annoying lock on the entire planet.

In other news, I just had an idea to create a keypad lock that requires me to put in all the numbers for Pi as the combination.

Come on people!

I thought this was a joke, and an old photoshop composite? No?

It’s a very simple maze…pretty straightforward path. But what point would this serve? It would only be good for keeping people IN your house. So I guess once you got your would-be-rape-victim indoors it would keep her from escaping once the drugs wore off…

But for NORMAL people this is just a fire hazard.

I think the point of it is to be anti-pet…I know some people who have cats and dogs that can work the latches to get outside.

If you have the right tools (like say, a coat hanger) then those chain locks are pretty easy to release from the outside, as long as you can open the door a bit.

Good luck with that Pi lock. You’re going to be there a while…

I bet that was the lock Michael Jackson had on his bedroom door.
