Mind Blowing Revelation of the Day

Published by at 1:00 pm under Images,Movies

Seriously? ?

No, not seriously. This had me all excited for about half a second that there was something this hidden inside the Harry Potter series that no one ever picked up on in all the tens of millions of fans the series enjoys, but alas, I’m pretty sure this is fake.

I can’t find a source that has Rowling actually saying this, and also Voldemort’s snake is way the hell bigger than this one, isn’t it a boa constrictor and has venom which boas don’t have. As this IS Harry Potter, I suppose that he could have cast some “Badassifucs Totalus” spell on it and turned it into an uber snake, because technically whatever the hell kind of snake Naigini actually is, it doesn’t exist in real life.

I’m just going to pretend this is real. Feel free to tell your friends.

    Sorry for double post – link to original: http://elluhhh.buzznet.com/user/journal/10843221/nagini-not-snake-sorcerers-stone/

    Not sure where they are getting green viper… The pictures of Nagini I came across also look like a reticulated python. The head on constrictors and pythons have a diamond shape, but are not poisonous.

    It could be possiable. A snakes growth rate can depend how much it is feed plus considering how many years took place in the series and since Nagini is or was an enchanted creature…….. just might be possiable

    @Mandy

    There are no pictures in the book. As always, you can’t use the movie adaptation as source material.

    @Guy Incognitus — “also Voldemort’s snake is way the hell bigger than this one,” and by ‘this one’ I assume Paul means the snake in the picture, which is from the movies, so I was going for movies. The snake in the books could be something totally mythical.

    Mandy’s right, you need to research the books, not the movies…

    “The snake Harry set free was a boa constrictor not a venomous green viper as Nagini is described. “

    @Mandy

    You said you “don’t know where they are getting green viper” which is from another site entirely (linked in the comments) and which is cited as coming from J.K. Rowling and then you compared it to the CG snake that appeared in the movie as a way to refute it. Good backtracking though…
