The Results of Unreality’s Halloween Costume Contest!
Wow, we had a GREAT response for our first annual Unreality costume contest this year, and I got a lot more responses than I anticipated. Day one I had like two, but by the end, I had way, way more to choose from.
But there can only be one winner, and through a completely objective process that involves a great appreciation for Parks and Recreation, I’ve chosen John Anthony’s Ron Swanson as my winner. The gun, the bacon, the eggs, the pyramid, too amazing to pass up. Maybe not the hardest to put together out of all these, but I burst out laughing when I saw it.
There were a TON of cool costumes submitted however, and I would be remiss to not show you a bunch of them even after declaring a winner. I’ve compiled a rather large gallery of the best of the rest, including the first and second runners up. Check them out for yourself below:

Awesome costumes, I also went as Randy Savage (along with my friends as Ric Flair, Sting, Mankind, The Rock & some wrestler named Skid Mark that my friend made up….) I completely forgot about the contest, badass Ron Swanson, though.
Whoa I made it! Haha oops, forgot to put what I went as in my email. It was Cyber Goth.
I have to give it to Batman though, those shoulder rocket launchers, just wow.

These are all awesome, great job you guys! I think my favorite is Chell, I need one of those Aperture shirts! I also like the L4D hunter, my wife and I went as Bill and Zoey last year.
Woo, I made it on the list (Zipper Zombie) I was not sure after my night out if I had sent it. Excellent costumes all around, I think my favourite is Dead Ed (from Shaun of the Dead)
The Ron Swanson guy looks more like a bigger Fez from That 70′s Show if he grew a moustache than the actual Ron Swanson.
minecraft link was my fave but ace and gary made me lawl in my cubicle, particularly for the last photo

Woo, made it! The girlfriend and I were Cheryl and Krieger. Awesome costumes all around. Loved the power armor batman, as well as Ron f*cking Swanson.
Mine craft Link…I think was my favorite. Kudos to the guy who did zipper face zombie (some good make up).

Yay!!! You put my husband and I up! That’s my dead Ed! My hubby thought he couldn’t dress up because he’s big, I told him that everyone thinks he looks like Ed, we should do Shaun and Ed
Love the rest of the costumes. Great submissions! Walter and Splicer are definitely some of my faves. Also Gareth and Ambiguously Gay Duo. I gotta hand it to Ron Swanson though, just perfect. Happy Halloween y’all!!!
