There’s nothing like a good fan film, and by that I mean there’s nothing like a GOOD fan film, as there are too many bad ones to count scattered across the internet.

But it’s rare that you come across one this well made, and about a subject matter that you wouldn’t imagine could be taken seriously. This is Alex Albrecht‘s take on what a possible Voltron movie might look like. Such a project has been floating around Hollywood for a while, but was ultimately scrapped, and no plans exist to revive it.

Here Alex has enlisted an actual actor to help him out, which would be Psych’s Tim Omundson as the captain of the Red Lion in what appears to be his final minutes on earth. Check it out for yourself above.
