A Gallery to Demonstrate Why We Have Eyebrows

These immortal words from The OC have always stuck with me as someone who possesses rather distinctive eyebrows. I’ve always liked mine (Google me if you’re that curious) and I can’t imagine what I’d look like without them.
Probably like a freakshow, which is what this rather strange website has proven. CelebsWithNoEyebrows is exactly what it sounds like, a place where there are countless pictures of celebrities without eyebrows to show just how important they are to making us not look like escaped mental patients.
I’ve collected some of my best finds below, and if someone photoshops me without mine, I’m going to be pissed. Or laugh hysterically, not sure.

Yeah, I’m still fine with Mila Kunis and Olivia Wilde without eyebrows.
Kinda reminds me of a prank we used to pull on people who’d passed out early at parties. We called it “the Choicer” – simply shave off one of their eyebrows. The “choice” is when they wake up and have to decide whether to shave the other one themselves for symmetry, or just wait for the missing one to grow back.

That prank was even in a commercial a while back. I’m pretty sure everyone did it (though that doesn’t make it any less HILARIOUS)
It never occurred to me until now, but this would be a great way to disguise yourself if you were on the run from the law. Remember how, in The Fugitive, Richard Kimble shaved off his beard to look different? I bet that shaving off your eyebrows would be similarly effective.

Yes they do look weird, but really this isn’t accurate because they are also Photoshopping out the forehead shadows and all that curvature that goes along with the brow. I can guarantee these people would not look THIS bad without them. Just sayin’

Also, I find most of these people without eyebrows just end up looking like charlie villanueva. that’s probably something actually no one will get.

I agree with Mandy. Whoever was doing the photoshopping flattened out the browline on all of them. If there was proper shadowing/lighting there, they probably wouldn’t look quite so crazy.
Katy Perry still looks gorgeous even with no eyebrows. Now that is a true beautiful face.
It’s amazing how some of them still look pretty good… and some look like crazy aliens!
honestly i think some look better just because of their facial expressions. some people use their eyebrows a lot in expressing themselves so it looks weird when you see their face without knowing how their “would-be-eyebrows” are stretched. the ones with a neutral expression and no eyebrow-raising look okay.
they also altered the shape of these people’s foreheads so we still do not know what they’d look like without eyebrows.
