Memorable Moments in Movies: The Natural Final Swing
I’m not sure how all of you feel about sports movies but The Natural is by far one of if not my favorite sports movie of all time. It’s certainly my favorite baseball movie. That’s not even a question. Although Major League was pretty awesome.
In any event, no scene in the history of movies gives me more chills than this one. Even thinking about it, the music, the moment, everything, makes me excited.
Warning though, if you haven’t seen this movie then please don’t watch this….

You know, though, he really struck out. Watch it again. Hobbs gets one strike on him before the pitcher change. Then he fouls one to the press box. Then he swings and misses before hitting the home run.
