I’m told this is a fairly old picture, but I haven’t actually seen it until now. It’s the covershoot for Vanity Fair’s Hollywood issue, which I believe ran before the Oscars last year. It features a whole host of up and coming celebrities dressed to the nines, or in Olivia Wilde’s case, dressed to the one and a quarter.
It’s just a very cool shot as you don’t get to see professional shoots with this many stars looking this good all in one place at the same time. And before I get the first comment, yes, I know that Robert Duvall snuck his way in their among the kids.
If you want the full roster since you can’t place a few faces, from left to right we have Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway, James Franco, Jennifer Lawrence, Anthony Mackie, Olivia Wilde, Jesse Eisenberg, Mila Kunis, Robert Duvall, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Andrew Garfield, Rashida Jones, Garret Hedlund and Noomi Rapace.

Why is Andrew Garfield in this picture? Is there some definition of “up and coming” that I missed? He’s in a movie that hasn’t been released yet and has a high probability of either being horribly unoriginal or being a disgrace to the franchise by rebooting everyting differently. Also, how is Toby Maguire’s career looking right now? Yeah, I don’t think starring in a superhero movie, even if this will be another trilogy, necessarily means you’re going to go on to star in quality films.
I’m guessing Garfield is on there due to “The Social Network”, which Eisenberg and Jones were also in. It has been released, did fairly well, and I hear there were some awards it won, or something.
It appears to me that Duvall is actually the bartender and thus didn’t “sneak in”.

1. Good god Olivia and Mila. . . Why must you be so amazingly gorgeous?
2. I love the randomness of Rashida bottle feeding a large cat.
3. Everything about Joke Gyllenhaal just screams photoshop. The lighting between the hands and face don’t match, the back of the chair seems off, and the leg of the chair looks like it is cutting in to his crotch.
@George about Jake being phtoshopped. First, do you see how Ryan Reynold’s face has a shadow on our right side (his left half)? That means the primary light source was somewhere to the left of the picture. See where Gyllenhaal’s hands are? Yep, they’re directly next to the shadowed side of Reynolds. That fits perfectly.
Oh my god, that Olivia Wilde’s dress is lethal
Holy christ. Olivia and Mila look outstanding.

3. Like the symbolism of Duvall being the bartender.
