Debate of the Day: What’s Your Most Anticipated Game of the Fall?

I honestly cannot remember the last time there was a video game release schedule that was this stacked. I know the industry tends to release their best titles in the fall before Christmas, but this year its excessive, as there are so many games coming out, it’s going to be impossible to play them all. Some will have to be postponed for months, and so that’s why I’m wondering what your “priority” list will be.
Out of all the games about to come out, which are taking precedence over the others, and which one is by far the one you’re looking forward to over all the others. Here’s a refresher of what’s about to be released:
Gears of War 3 – September 20th
Arkham City - October 18th
Battlefield 3 - October 25th
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception – November 1st
Modern Warfare 3 - November 8th
Elder Scrolls: Skyrim – November 11th
Saints Row the Third - November 15th
Assassin’s Creed Revelations – November 30th
And I’m sure there are a few more I’m missing, but feel free to add those in yourself. So out of all these, which are going to get played first? I have to say for me it’s Battlefield 3 and then Skyrim, as I’ve been waiting for the latter for years now. The only problem is that it’s a 100 hour investment, and I’m definitely more busy than I used to be when I was playing Oblivion taking 12 easy credits at college.
So, where are you going to start?

Battlefield 3, hands down. All footage and demos so far point to greatness. I doubt it’ll outsell MW3, but I don’t think anyone is really doubting how great the game looks. Of course, the limit of players in a match on the consoles is a handicap to the awesome 64 person battles available on PC
Skyrim for sure, Arkham maybe, and because I am a Halo fanboy- CE anniversary ed.
defintily battlefield and skyrim, gears 3 and Assassins creed will have to wait a month or two, but then in march comes out mass effect 3. im also looking towards dark souls but im afraid it might make me break my controller.
No damnit!!!
I don’t have enough money!!!! *cries* #firstworldproblems
I’m excited for Gears 3, the books were way better then they had any right to be and i’m curious to see what happens when they let a sci-fi author write an actual game.
Zelda. November 20th.
Also Skyrim.
But mostly Zelda.
Totes forgot the new Legend of Zelda game…but Gears 3 is definitely the one I’m most excited for. Skyrim and Uncharted 3 in tied for a close second.
None of them. Waiting on Mass Effect 3. I am still playing Dragon Age 2, Fallout New Vegas, and I have to replay ME2 as a renegade. So I will just wait.
Gears 3, hands down the best game releasing this year
Out of the ones you listed:
Gears of War 3
Battlefield 3
Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
Will be day one buys.
I do have Dead Island preordered also but I’m still on the fence about it. If reviews turn out bad, I’ll just move money over to Skyrim.
Also have Dark Souls paid off, I can’t wait to dive into that game with some buddies.
dark souls
Serious Sam 3: BFE
I am more the RPGler, so it’s obvious: Skyrim, Skyrim, Skyrim …
Space Marine! Screw all those other games. I want top pick up an ork, slam his body to the ground and stomp his head to regain some health before laying into his buddies with blazing chainsword and roaring boltgun
1. Zelda
2. Arkham City
3. Assassins Creed
battlefield 3 and skyrim, if mass effect 3 came out this year i wouldnt even care about the other 2, im also looking forward to new assassins creed
Ok, forget that i just remembered Rayman Origins
No.1 Rayman Origins and Zelda
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Battlefield 3 and MW3
Zelda obvs.
“A few more I’m missing…” Understatement of the decade.
Zelda. Zelda. Zelda.
There’s some great games coming out, but that’s 1-3 in a top 5 list.
nba jam: on fire edition all the way
Modern Warfare 3, but I’m going to be waiting a few months to get it, I hate paying full price for games. There is also another game I personally am excited about, though I forget the name, there is a new metal gear game that lets you play as Raiden between MGS2 and MGS4, so with his cyborg body and sword slashing badassery.
Uncharted 3 FTW.
Easily BF3. I still need to play through the previous games for the others.
I plan on playing all those games, although Battlefield 3 will likely take up the majority of my time.
Backloggery.com is going to love me this year…
Dark Souls, Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3 and Skyrim
And hey maybe somewhere in there a 3DS game will actually pop up that’s semidecent! Though Devil Survivor Overclocked has been doing it for me this last week.
Batman, NHL 12 and probably Modern Warfare 3
SKYRIM SKYRIM SKYRIM SKYRIM SKYRIM. I’m in law school now, and November is notorious for giving you zero time to do anything but study and read. I am literally reserving my entire winter break to playing Skyrim.
Nhl, fifa, batman
Dark Souls!!
Check it out. http://ps3.ign.com/objects/086/086623.html
Zelda in Nov.
How could forget?!
Other than that, Uncharted3 and Arkham City are high on the list. I still haven’t played AC:Brotherhood. I’m also getting the ICO/SotC HD remake.
Saints Row or Zelda
Uncharted 3 close runner up
Dark Souls and Dead Island, then Assassins Creed Revelations.
wow does anyone on this site really care about modern warfare 3? I certainly do, and that’s not to say I don’t also want bf3
skyrim, battlefield 3, and borderlands 2.
not all that stoked for another cod, especially with all the gayass elite stuff.
DEFINITELY DOTA 2!
I just replayed AC 1-bloodline-2-brotherhood in anticipation for revelations
in reallity im more exicting about arma 3 only but for this year hands down battlefield 3 will be game of the year
I’ve been eagerly anticipating Saint’s Row 3 since Saint’s Row 2 came out.
Skyrim is a close second
Arkham City is sitting in third
