The Tough Life of a Dragonball Z Voice Actor
Doing voiceovers for cartoons is obviously a pretty fun job most of the time, but there’s one show that would seem to be more work than all the rest.
That would be Dragonball Z, where the work is less dialogue and more bloodcurdling screams that take up half the script at a time. One actor said he screamed so hard he even passed out once.
It’s kind of hilarious to see these sorts of unreal voices coming from average humans, and if you’re a fan of the show you’ll definitely appreciate it.

Yes, incredible. How are they able to make some of these voices? I had a trip hearing that lady do the “Oh Tien” voice. Then the Hercule, and the other voices. Wow. These guys are talented.
