The internet is full of trailer recuts, but this one stood out as being better than quite a lot of them. It’s Harry Potter recut as a zany teen comedy, and it fits in more than you might think.

Before the movies were all doom and gloom and unforgivable curses, they were actually pretty fun, as a school for wizards is an inherently wacky environment. School, sports and girl drama would often take center stage, and there were enough clips to string together to create an actual believable trailer. I really did miss those aspects in later films, particularly the final chapter where they weren’t even AT school. Do you still get to graduate if you’ve been roaming around the countryside hunting evil artifacts, and your final act is to contribute to the complete destruction of the school you’re attending?
