The Sean Bean Death Reel

Published by at 2:00 pm under Movies,Videos

As big of a badass as he is, it’s an inescapable fact that if you’re watching something with Sean Bean in it, he’s probably going to die. I guess that can be considered a spoiler alert for anything he’s starred in, but that’s just how it’s worked out over the years.

Pajiba’s Harry Hanrahan decided to hunt through his film catalog and pull out just how many times he’s actually been killed onscreen. He found them all and put them in this montage, scored with the rather excellent track from the Dead Island trailer that we all watched a million times.

Watch it above, and hit the jump for a complete listing of what’s being featured when.

    He died in “Ronin” too, didn’t he?

    I hope he keeps it up honestly.

    Also Sean Bean’s opposite is LL Cool J who has NEVER died in a movie. Several being scary movies. I believe it is in his contract that he can never die in a movie.

    Ah. It wasnt in the complete listing under the video so I thought they must have missed it. My mistake.

    Yeah it is. “01:39 – GT”

    Paul just has a big issue with GoT spoilers. He -was- trying to keep it from being accidentally spoiled, but that’s out the window after all these comments.

    Hahaha I can’t believe someone made this, I was talking to my friends about this the other week about how he always dies, he also dies in that new one Age of Heroes but it doesn’t show it so it must not count.

    @Hopton,

    I’m pretty sure people could figure this one out just by the fact that the video was made, and when it was made. With GT ending a couple weeks ago, of course any video involving his death reel would probably include GT, or there was no catalyst for making the video.

    Maybe he should do cartoons?! He has the voice, and there is less dying in cartoons… Anyway, great actor!!!
