Crappy Must See Movie Of the Week: The Last American Virgin

Talk about your all time awesome yet horrible 80s movies. Where do I even start with The Last American Virgin? Just to preface this article I want to let you know that this movie is truly messed up. There are scenes and plots that completely come out of nowhere. At first you think this is one of those fun movies about high school and teens and stuff. Nope. It takes you for one hell of a loop. This is more of a cry for you to see this movie because you have to, not because you want to.

Here’s the IMBD synopsis: The friendship of a group of young friends struggling with teen sex, drugs, and work is jeopardized by a romantic interest which may turn pals into bitter rivals.

That one sentence definitely sums it up but it doesn’t do this movie justice. The main character is about as pathetic looking as one could possibly be. Then you’ve got the whole teen sex and pregnancy issue. I swear this movie is one step away from being a long ass PSA.

Oh, and you’ve got Diane Franklin who happens to get nude in this film? It’s out of nowhere. By the way in case you don’t know, Franklin is the cute girl Monique in Better off Dead.

See? Doesn’t this trailer make it seem like this fun awesome movie typical of the 80s? Trust me, it’s not. I’m pretty sure it’s really just one big soundtrack.

all I can remember specifically is the part where they deliver the pizza & end up banging the older lady.

The only way a movie could have a sadder and more depressing ending would be to have Benji get dognapped, sexually abused, tortured, shaved bald, burned alive, sexually abused again and then killed…I mean if you haven’t seen this movie get some kleenex ready and be prepared to go off on an angry tirade.

May not be on Netflix instant streaming but Lemon Popsicle is. The Last American Virgin is a remake of Lemon Popsicle.

I KNEW when I was watching Starship Troopers 2 that Lt. Pavlov Dill looked familiar !!!!
