What’s Your (Geek) Sign?
I doubt this will be used as a pick-up line at the bar any time soon, but for those of us who never quite got on board the whole astrology thing, this is a chart we might actually be able to relate to.
James Wright and Josh Eckert have created the Geek Zodiac, and though it’s not month to month the way Leo, Cancer, Gemini and all those guys are, it’s instead about birth year in the style of the Rat, the Rabbit, the Tiger and all those. That’s Chinese right?
But the animals have been replaced by icons of geek culture including ninjas, robots, pirates, aliens and astronauts. My sign? Well apparently I was born under the sign of the Superhero, which means I’m selfless, moral, vigilant in the plus column, but also condescending, pious and sanctimonious are my negative traits. I’ll look up those words for you in case you can’t understand them. See. That was selfless AND condescending in one statement. But actually I’d say that description is in fact pretty accurate for me. I hated being stupid rabbit anyways.
So,what’s your sign? Does it fit?

Also Superhero. Fairly accurate, but not the point of being eerie.
I’m an astronaut. Feels good, man.
Pretty much hit the nail on the head for me.
Well, I do like to think I am very wise so I guess it’s right.
Btw. Paul, I just saw Thor and you have to see it. I think it’s the best marvel movie so far.
I’m blown away. 1986, fit’s me perfectly.
I’m a spah! Nice, haha. I’m not too sure about the Confident or Desenranceco-gesundheit part, though.
Treasure Hunter. More on the negative side than positive. I don’t really consider myself adventurous or cultured, but I can be quick witted. Not a cavalier with rules, but I am a loner and I really don’t like to share.
Daikaiju! this was what I was hoping for and that was what I got! I agree with it, though I doubt people my age would.
Screw the year of the lamb, I’m a frakkin’ time traveler!!!
cool! im superhero too AND im also a rabbit…
it fits for me too
Funny.
But there is an error for the pirate sign.
“Bon viveur” is not correct, we say “bon-vivant” in French.

Error on the dates. 1956 is listed twice – spy and ninja. Since the ninja 1956 is between 1957 and 1959 I would guess the nijna is 1958.
