Gearbox Helps a Fan Propose via Borderlands
Apparently there’s some sort of contest going on around the internet where people are competing to see who can do the absolute dorkiest proposal possible. Last we check, the “I choose you!” Pokeball was in the lead, but now we have a new frontrunner.
This guy and his girl are apparently such big fans of Borderlands (aren’t we all?) that Gearbox actually took time to make him a custom video starring Claptrap to help him propose to his girlfriend. That video is above, and I’ll admit, it’s actually pretty damn funny. The only way it could have been cooler is if they actually got their own characters rendered in game.
So that’s the custom clip above, but how did it go over when she actually saw it? That video is below:

I wait for the next video intituled : “will you divorce me? and take the kids with you? But not the dog, he’s mine.”
Little bit awkward actually
i would never let her go!! awesome!!
hes going to ask her to go to the next level?
you mean ana–
CUT!
LMAO
I’m surprised she said yes. I agree that was one of the most awkward things I’ve seen, especially since everyone else knew what was going on.
It’s cool that the voice of the “director” is Anthony Burch. It’s like a tiny little interconnected world of video game nerds up in here.
