The Intergalactic Pin-Up

Alright, so this is one of the few times where I KNOW I’ve posted this on the site before, but it was way back in 2009, and I came across it today and decided that all the new people who have become regular visitors since that need to see this, and believe me, there are a lot of you.

Also, only so many vintage pictures like this were actually ever taken, and I doubt new ones are going to keep surfacing forever. So that’s why we need to cherish the ones we do have, and especially when they focus on the hottest space princess in history. Did you not realize that was Carrie Fisher? If not you are way too reliant on her crazy hairstyles.

So yeah, as that image gets large, feel free to make it your wallpaper. See you in another two years when I refresh your memory with it again.

Old is old, but it’s also gold. I’ve used this pic for a wallpaper at least a couple of times in the past several years. It really is a shame Carrie and Mark never got to beat their Star Wars fame, like Harrison Ford did (and to be honest, he’s to worst of the three, in my opinion).
Hamil does have a nice list of flick, as a matter of fact, but most have faded into obscurity and most people will never know his acting skills, beyond Luke Skywalker (and the Joker perhaps).

    That’s new to me, thanks.

Also, I knew it was Carrie Fisher at first glance. Go me.

I’m torn between using this as my wallpaper or sticking with my current wallpaper of Selena Gomez.

Dammit, I hate these tough decisions…

If you can’t pick between Selena Gomez and Carrie Fisher, you really have to reevaluate your priorities.

    Step 1: close blinds
Step 2: put on Vader helmet
    Step 3: You already know!

To Anon: Harrison Ford had already been in American Graffitti by the time he was in Star Wars. He was the only already-established main actor in the movie. It would make sense that his career would turn out best considering he isn’t typecast into the role due to his previous fame from AG.

    Kinda looks like Sarah Chalke.

Josh, your post is void, as I never said anything counter to it. I just think Harrison Ford is a bad actor, despite his career taking off.
I’d also reconsider your statement about him not being typecast, cause he totally is, in the best part of his career.
