The World’s Most Omnipresent Extra

Published by at 2:00 pm under Movies,Television,Videos

What you’re about to see is a man that transcends the boundries of time and space. He’s shown up in practically every movie and TV show released in the last ten years, and I’m pretty sure he’s an alien agent sent to infiltrate Hollywood.

Actually probably not, his name his Jesse Heiman, he’s a background extra who occasionally gets a line or two and apparently has the nerdy appeal that every show and movie ever made seems to want in their background. Watching the video, this guy has a seriously impressive resume, and you can see him next in Transformers 3 as “Mail Room Guy.”

Throw him into a red striped shirt and I think we’ve found the new Where’s Waldo.

Both IMDB and this video forgot Austin Powers 3 (I think) where it shows Austin and Dr. Evil in prep school, he has a scene there too.

I’m glad someone else also noticed he is in almost every TV show! I thought it was really weird to see him in The Social Network though, it felt like the movie broke the fourth wall there for a moment. Just by using the Ultimate Extra.
