This Isn’t Racist But Help Black Valentine’s Day

Published by at 2:00 pm under Editorials

Once in a while we come across some weird stuff on the internet.  And if there’s one thing I know, I’m pretty sure both Paul and I do NOT like Valentine’s day.   It’s pointless.  Annoying.   And you have to spend tons of money for no reason!  But we do appreciate what Virgin Mobile is doing right now.

It’s called Black Valentine’s day and no it’s not a racist thing.   We urge you to try this out.   Trust me, it’s fun.

In order to participate you have to like their Facebook page, click here, but luckily I created a preview or you…

Ummmmmm. No. Being against some doofy holiday serves no purpose aside from showing the world you are childishly contrarian. I’d rather keep that sort of personal failing to myself, if it’s all the same. I’m married and do not plan on celebrating Valentines Day. The only thing that is making me feel sorry for single people is the fact that they are apparently so mentally frail and uncomfortable with themselves as to be threatened by a holiday traditionally celebrated by couples. It’s like the KKK protesting Black History Month. Move along.

WTF?? Why so much hate for Valentines Day?? I currently have no GF or anything and will be spending it wth friends but i have no such hate for V’s Day i mean come on, so much work and effort just for a day. The only bad thing that can happen in that day is that someone may feel lonely. There are so many things we can work for that hating Valentine’s day seems pointless. Just expressing my oppinion and if you think it’s something worh doing then i can not judge.

My wife and I use it as an excuse to go out to a nice restaurant for dinner.
