The Greatest Showdowns in Cinema

Published by at 1:00 pm under Images,Movies

Now, we don’t get paid to plug specific events on Unreality, but I’m going to go ahead and do this one for free, because even the promotional image for it is something I thought would be worth posting.

It’s an exhibit from Scott C. who has recreated over 200 different showdowns from movies for this collection, and we can see some of his most famous ones above, and I expect you’ll recognize a large number of them. Off the top of my head I see, Star Wars, Edward Scissorhands, Jurassic Park, Kill Bill, The Birds, Fargo, Jaws, Supersize Me and Offic e Space. If you name every single one on this page, I’ll be extremely impressed. And hey, if you’re in LA, feel free to stop by this exhibit in a few weeks to see them all.

Impressive but you did miss a few. The first one you said not sure to is labyrinth, not sure about the balloon one. The one you said was aqua teen hunger force is actually supersize me. And thats weird science, not return of the jedi.

    Rocky
    Karate Kid
    Beetlejuice
    Seven
    Zoolander
    Office Space
    Blues Brothers
    Bad News Bears
    Labyrinth
    Red Balloon
    The Rocky Horror Picture Show
    The Royal Tenenbaums
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (Didn’t Know)
    Ghost
    Gremlins
    Super Size Me
    Jaws
    Jason and the Argonauts
    Fargo
    Titanic
    The Matrix
    Star Wars: A New Hope
    Back To the Future
    The Birds
    Kill Bill
    Weird Science
    Edward Scissorhands
    Stand By Me
    Jurassic Park
    The Maltese Falcon (Didn’t know)

To be completely honest, the only ones I didn’t recognize were “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” and “The Maltese Falcon”, both of which I have yet to see. Also, without seeing a full image, the one that people seem to think is Young Frankenstein, looks more like “Seven.” However, without seeing the full image, that’s my best guess.

Great Post! I wish I could go to this event.

    Great story guys.

But, on a side note..I love this site but every time I click on a picture or certain links it sends me to a stupid ad. I understand you guys have to make money..but this is getting ridiculous and makes me not want to come here anymore. Ads on the side and stuff is fine..but your faithful readers shouldn’t have to exit out of windows for every link on your site..it’s tiring.
