Cameraman: Alright, I’m going to need you to roar now.
Lion: Roar? What’s my motivation?
Cameraman: You need motivation? I thought lions just roared all the time!
Lion: Nope.
Cameraman: Alright fine, if you do it, I’ll let you eat Gary here after.
Gary: What?
Lion: Really? RAWRRRR! RAWR! RAWR!
Cameraman: Alright, I lied, but we got the take.
Lion: Aw what the… Get over here human!
Cameraman: Gary! The tranq gun!

Lion: Ow! I miss Afric…zzzzzz

A modern day take on the Lion roaring situation:
“Ok Lion, we need you to roar.”
“What? Roar? What you think because I’m a lion I’m just gonna roar all the time? Man, fuck you. You racist.”
“Hey, that’s what you’re contracted for, we need you to roar for this clip.”
“Muthafucka, I am the king of the muthafuckin jungle and you think I’m just gonna roar on cue for your golf attire wearing ass? ‘Oh I’s really sorry massa, lemme get right on that for ya!’”
“Listen, lion, you’re blowing this out of proportion. We just need this roar for a clip. If you cant do that we’ll just find another lion.”
“Oh what, so now you’re saying all lions look alike? Where the fuck is my agent, this is some bullshit. Wait until the press gets a hold of this story, your ass is as good as fired.”
“No, I’m not saying all lions are the same, I’m just saying we need you to roar once on film and you’ll be in every movie we produce, ever. You’ll be in more movies than Clint Howard.”
“The funny looking guy with the famous ginger brother? Oh shit. Now you’re talking. I dont know man, first I want apology from you, then we’ll see.”
“How about we build a giant hotel and casino in vegas and have statues of you all over it?”

I thoroughly enjoyed both dialogs haha
The Lion in the MGM sequence was filmed at Dublin (Ireland) Zoo and he’s actually yawning…not growling. The “RAWR” was added in afterwards.
