Nope – haven’t heard about Faye yet. Apparently they are currently working on re-writing the script to reduce the scope of the movie because it was going to cost roughly 500 mil to make. I just hope it makes it through cause CB was one of my favorite anime series and I think Keanu is going to be perfect playing Spike Seigel.

The Beatles on is the best, but the person should’ve blurred him a bit more to match John, Paul, George and Ringo. I’ve always been a fan of Keanu. I think he realizes that he’s been really lucky to have such a successful career despite not having much acting talent. He lives a pretty humble lifestyle and donates most of his pay to fund cancer research. He donated over $50 dollars of his Matrix sequels earnings to be distributed to the crew. He took a 90% pay cut on Replacements so Gene Hackman could be cast and a $2 million cut on Devil’s Advocate so Pacino could be cast.

What ComfortableMadness posted proves what I was about to say which is this: I’ve heard Keanu is a really good dude. He gives a lot of his money away to charity and he’s a good sport about everything.

PS, is anyone else pumped about Keanu playing Spike in the new Cowboy Bebop movie?

Keanu has, in fact, responded to the memes. He’s been rumored to be an all around good guy and his responses to the memes reinforce those rumors. Heres a few, courtesy of Vulture entertainment:

Keanu- My publicist showed me the photo, but no.

V- There’s not one photo. There are millions. You’re Photoshopped next to kittens and into Pulp Fiction and next to the cast of The Breakfast Club, and in a million different ways. Have you seen those?

K- Yeah, I haven’t seen them. But given the scope and scale of what can happen out there, that sounds like an all right one. It sounds conceptually funny. [Laughs.]
